Once a week or more I hear of someone who I was or am close to, dying. So very many people I know too, Pearl, are ill or fighting illnesses that have no good outcome. One cannot help but wonder about who will be here next year...or even next week, including, oneself.OldLady Of The Hillshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02458879772193114892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9620911.post-10822499312814128442007-09-20T01:56:00.000-04:002007-09-20T01:56:00.000-04:00gmar hatima tova pearl...a good safe year to you a...gmar hatima tova pearl...a good safe year to you and everyone you love...nishikot...love, marallynmarallyn ben moshehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04687599765928616825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9620911.post-84216328126521221702007-09-19T10:36:00.000-04:002007-09-19T10:36:00.000-04:00As you can guess, this prayer has become much more...As you can guess, this prayer has become much more real to me since losing Aaron. I almost wonder why we say this on Rosh Hashanah and not restrict it to Yom Kippur. It's not really in tune with the joyous nature of Rosh Hashanah.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9620911.post-55090301681889492182007-09-17T10:43:00.000-04:002007-09-17T10:43:00.000-04:00It appears that you were not alone in your thought...It appears that you were not alone in your thoughts because like you and RM, I too had the same thoughts. It's hard since our congregation is a very old congregation. It's hard because PHD's mother is 92 years old and she seems to be weaker and moving a little slower every time we see her. And I continue to wish them well because every single day they are with us is a blessing.orieyentahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08196912567675213457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9620911.post-61737676312337009112007-09-16T19:38:00.000-04:002007-09-16T19:38:00.000-04:00I shared some of the same thoughts this year, albe...I shared some of the same thoughts this year, albeit from my living room.
