Wr...A very large part of a lawyer's job is writing. Writing briefs, writing motions, writing demand letters, writing leases, writing contracts, etc. Thus a large portion of law school is focused on writing skills, especially grammar, style and organization. Also, a disproportionate number of attorneys earned their undergraduate degree in English or literature.
