Toronto Sunset
i look out my office window at 4:50 p.m.
the sky down there in the southwest end
of the city
is a beautiful one as it settles in
for the night --
unraveling its banded blanket of
peach, pink, orange and yellow
swaddling the cityfolk in its vast coziness.
i hug myself
and smile.
