Do children songs count? Cathy and Marcy Collection for Kids has a great song that covers two months that you were looking for..."January, February, March"

May - from the musical Camelot - Lusty Month of May

Oh, Pearlie, you're taking me back too many years!!!

"April Showers" also mentions the month of May ["they bring the flowers, that bloom in May" - and no, I'm not THAT old, it was a real Oldie when I was a kid!]

"Monday, Monday" - The Mamas & the Papas

"Ruby Tuesday" - The Rolling Stones

"Saturday Afternoon" - The Jefferson Airplane

[And yes "Tuesday Afternoon" & "Wednesday Morning 3 AM" were also great!]

Thanks for the memories!

One of the most beautiful Simon & Garfunkel songs "April Come She Will" wins over Pat Boone's "April Love" (in my book!) and includes all the months from April to September in its lyrics.

Oh, I thought you only wanted the three that were missing. I am sure the Wiggles and Barney have a few more songs I can add - JUST KIDDING!

April come she will...beautiful song...in fact...everything Simon and Garfunkel did was amazing...I have been listening to a "best of" S & G this past week...Paul Simon was incredibly insightful and wise at a very young age. (Sorry Pearl, I know this has nothing to do with the topic, except when I saw "April Come She will", I just couldn't help myself!)

I Don't Like Mondays - Boomtown Rats.

Anyone remember the story behind that song.

Anyone know what the lead singer's claim to fame became?

I Don't Like Mondays had to do with some high school kid (I believe) who shot up his school and said he did it because he didn't like Mondays.

Lead singer was Bob Geldolf who later got the whole Band Aid and Live Aid thing going.

Rabbi Neil & Wanderer,

Thanks for adding your touch of trivia to this post.

Hey, Wanderer, you "compassionate physician" -- are you going to submit your childhood photo to Seraphic Secret? You should, you know...

Thank you, all commenters, for your input and your filling in the blanks. There are scores of song titles that I'm sure I overlooked, but I'd have been blogging forever had I listed them all.

Yitz, I checked out your site, and the "niggunim" in your blog are a far cry from those listed in my post.

And for your info,Sweettooth, kids' songs will ALWAYS count.

I think all my childhood pictures are somewhere buried in my parents' garage.... :(

I kinda tiptoe around Seraphic Secret anyway - he doesn't like my politics, but I like his blog...
