A Filler

Blogroll Me!

I learned this little bit some years ago and thought it ingenious. Even if you don't know Hebrew, you can read along -- everything is made clear by the end. It sort of reminds me of Abbott & Costello's "Who's On First?"

Ani means me
Me means who
Who means he
He means she

and Oy means Oy!

I remember that. That was funny.

I read a diff. one though which didn't have the first one. Just
Me is who
who is he
he is she

Costello was so confused. LOL

It's neat that Hebrew has words for the plural of 2nd person -- equivalent to our "y'all" (Texas) or "youse guys" (South Bronx)

Mirty, don't all foreign languages have that equivalent? French does, as does Spanish... (in French, the singular version is used more familiarly; the plural is more formal and polite) So probably Italian does, too.
