Something To Ponder

Have you heard of any bloggers who have left their spouses and/or significant others...FOR A BLOGGER?

Have you, T.P.? I haven't...but I have no doubt it's happened.

CM, are you asking if I've left my spouse for another blogger, or if I've heard of such a case?

No to both.

No, but I've seen bloggers write that they have "blog-crushes" on another blogger. Maybe that's the first step towards trouble?

No. And it seems really, really strange. But I could see it happening - a blogger 'connects' with another in ways they may not with their spouse, etc...

It has surely happened and why not I suppose. There are matches in chatrooms and forums and even in online gaming.

Why do you ask?

I haven't. But it's another new intrigue that is probably just around the corner!

Pearl!

How COULD you!

I thought we were going to keep this a SECRET!!

Psychotoddler: WHAT! You're cheating on me with Pearl and THIS is how I find out!?!!

Pearl: You shameless %&^#@!!!

Psycho: LOL!

I have wondered about this myself, actually.

I never have heard of any. But I can see how it could happen. Online, there's no stress of reality that exists in our real lives. It's like life in little bite-sized pieces. Of course, when an online relationship becomes a real one...

Pearl and P.T.: WHAT? You're cheating on me and Doc Bean, and this is how we both find out? Hey Doc...what say you and I get them both back, hmmmmm?

Sounds like a very marketable premise for an "independent" film.

Doctor Bean said...

cruisin-mom: Absolutely, though the joke is too convoluted for me at this point, and I'm not really sure what I'm agreeing to...

PsychoToddler said...

CM: Wait, which Doc were you referring to?

cruisin-mom said...

Hmmmm....think I'll keep you guessing!

Elie, blog crushes are similar to other crushes in that one must simply keep in mind one's priorities and loyalties. I would no sooner leave my spouse for a blogger than for anyone else who caught my eye temporarily.
