Like Mother, Like Daughter

I went to visit my parents today.

I was wearing a long-sleeve, blue-and-white striped top, and a jean skirt.

My mother was wearing the exact same long-sleeve, blue-and-white striped top (she'd bought one for her and one for me way back when), and a jean skirt.

Great minds think alike...

Lately I'm having stuff like that happen with my mother also - letting each other know about the same book, or having an idea to go to the same place.

Are you an only daughter?

Raggedy: Yup, only daughter, youngest child. My mom and I definitely have emotional and mental connections.

Nuch a chosid: Is it still considered "cute" when you're 45?

So did you start ripping accessories off one another's outfits like Lucy and Ethel?

I guess it's happening to all of us. Not too long ago, I came out of the bedroom after getting dressed and Little Orieyenta said, "You look just like Meema" (my mother). I guess I am dressing like my mother now. Oy!
