A Beautiful Video, Pearl...The Music, the visuals...all moving and lovely. My mother wewnt to Israel for the first time in 1951, and spent the entire summer there. She adored her time there and her letters were like love letters...Israel meant so much to her---everything about it. I think she would have liked to have moved there, if she could....She went back four or five times in those next years....So much has happened there since she died in 1966. I often wonder what she would think about all that HAS happened....

Old Lady: Don't I wish I could produce a piece like this! My mother also went in the early days of the country, spent extended time there and could've settled there. But Switzerland beckoned her back, and then it was on to Canada a few years later...

Marallyn: "My Jerusalem" -- how lovely a sentiment. Thank G-d we can extend that and call it "Our Jerusalem"!

(Are you my fairy godmother? I'll dig up Guy's email and drop him a note. Thank you.)

Whew - thanks for posting that! My father was a soldier during the Six Day War. These images have always held a lot of emotion for me.
