That picture makes me want to cry. It's so beautiful. It reminds me of my Uncle Milton, who was sort of a grandfather to me, and died of Alzheimer's this year. Something about the look on the older man's face. . .
I have a feeling that every one of us who looks at this photographic essay will "see" someone they know in the pics and "recognize" someone they know in the accompanying words to the pics.
Pearl, Thank you SO much for posting this link. I did see it a few months ago but now I have a bigger monitor so it's much easier to navigate - these photos are just amazing and the son's short essays are touching. Very respectful.
