Thanks, rickismom, for speaking up. I didn't really want to put Robin in a class of her own, although she's worthy. Over the past 5 years of my blogging, I've seen commenters come and go...mostly go. So, although my post was tongue-in-cheek, it did have some truth to it.

I'm becoming a lurker in my old age, but you're still on my blogroll, and I do drop by now and then.
I read and sometimes comment. I agree with Jack - commenting is down, on my blog for sure.
