...in honor of Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day.
My life has always been entangled with the Holocaust, and as a result, so has much of my poetry.
I just recalled a poem I wrote a few years back. It is a poem in progress, and although it's never been completed, it is time to bring it back up for air today --
--the official Holocaust Memorial Day.

You break my heart sometimes. In a good way. But broken nontheless.
That is a very powerful and moving poem, Pearl....I hope you finish it at some point because you obviously have a lot to say and a lot of feelings about this horrific subject.
I had never heard before about Kanada/Canada. It is amazing that no matter how much you think you know about this period and these terrible events--there is always more to know and take in, in all the Horror.
